Here are pictures from a Tamiya XR311 Box.

• The pictures are from the reissue box, but that replicated the old box from the late 70's.
• Last pictures are from the original XR311 body set box.
• The front of the box is showing an artists impression.
• The bumper is missing and the suspension parts are more detailed than the model.
• The chassis view shows the old battery and radio equipment.
• This is the "x-ray" view is not as detailed as it becomes on later models.
• The chassis view shows standard dry-cell batteries instead of the rechargeable 6V battery.
• The bodyset box also shows examples of more extravagant paint schemes, proposed by Tamiya.
