58016 Sand Scorcher

Here are pictures of an original Tamiya Sand Scorcher Box, as it was in the late 70's and early 80's.

• Note the the bumper is missing and has been replaced by a somewhat better looking tube frame.
• The roll bar, the vent window and chrome lining of window rubber is of course not as on the model itself.
• Front, back and side view: Good pictures for the ones that want to style their model according to box art.Note that the bumper is in place, and the rest is like the actual model.
• The chassis: Note the black bumper (indicates very early model). I just wish I could make my radio box as neat as this...
