Very in to RC during my youth, got back into it in 2008 & seem to have focused now on restoration of vintage Tamiyas, especially hard bodied variants - the worse condition the better :D

Next one - How did your recipe evolve? Looking at your ingredients: * Screenwash (typically water, polyethylene glycol (as a surfactant (wetting agent), & simplifying things massively, “wax”), ethanol (surfactant, drying accelerator), detergent), * Dentatured Alcohol (aka methylated spirit in the UK, as a surfactant & drying accelerator), * Water, * Detergent (no doubt also including surfactants (but not PEG))) ...you effectively seem to be diluting the amount of PEG (“wax”) in the screenwash, while keeping the other functions the same ... Given that I wouldn’t really want anything “waxy” to get in the way of bonding decals, wouldn’t it be better to avoid the PEG entirely & have a recipe made up of just water, detergent & denatured alcohol? Or is having a “wax” in there in a reduced quantity beneficial for moving decals around? :)

Nice one - love the drawing :D Some questions though – principally, what brand/strength screenwash (/auto windshield washer fluid)? Are we talking about the stuff that’s recommended to be diluted 10:1 with water, or the “ready to use” stuff?

Yeah - it seemed like a good idea at the time ... though that idea has stood up better than doing a Holiday Buggy 2010 in pink :S
