On a Grasshopper it's the edges of the wing that'll break when it flips over, on a Hornet probably the body mounts.
It has broken off the other mount that goes with the one on the left of the picture as well... Not that I'm complaining because that's the only minor thing on a complete set of shocks that eddrick sent me a while back. They'll be for the next project. |

It is a sweaty little gearbox indeed...
S-ray, my Hopper "ran away" in reverse. Splitting the original gearbox on the curb. But back then (we're talking not even that long ago) I still thought parts were hard to replace. |

My original gearbox with transmission is still ok without restoration. It is on my hornet now with the front wheeles too.
The rest is recycled since 20 years... |
