HKGT3 radio is ok, I used that in my old 1/5th scale buggy. Downside was the servo movement scale is different to other radio, & it's not adjustable - you have to mess about with longer servo-horns & different spline settings etc to re-set the car up to use with this radio.
You need to watch the amp rating on cheapy ESCs, it's a sales-ploy - the stated amp rating is often the sum total of the FET manufacturer's test/breakage current for all of the FETs on the board, not what current it takes to blow the ESC up. I can tell you now, looking at the FETs on your board in the picture, they're only realistically rated 1-2A each (2x FETs per chip) in normal operation - they're the same type as fitted to my 1/30th Kyosho MiniZ, & that's designed to run a 130 size motor from 4x AAAs. I've also seen similar in MTronics stuff. If you can read the number on the top of the FET chips, let me have it & I'll look it up & tell you what they're really rated at. I have some real 60A operating rated FETs kicking about, & they're each about half the size of your whole ESC! In fact, I've just bought another (Brushed) cheapy ESC & the seller is claiming it will cope with 320A - probably not I suspect!
