BIG job lot. No idea if it is worth the money and I certainly don't have the cash, but if someone wanted a pop at it, I'd be willing to collect it (so long as I could have first dibs!). Potters Bar is not too far from me.

that is just crazy. I'd say by the volume of goods the starting bid is worth it, but unless you know whats there I'd never risk the bid.

Are we looking at the same auction? It looks overvalued by a factor of at least 10 to me, a more appropriate start would have been 1/20th

ok, I should have been more clear. From my brief look, I suspect that the total current prices for all the parts would add up to more than the listed value. But thats the catch, without a detailed list of parts and whether they are new or not, only a fool would buy. And if I were to bid, I like you, would only bid a fraction of the value, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the trouble.
