What is the length of those front grasshopper shocks? Or around about?

Fitted on the rear of this Grasshopper, from the centre of the rear axle (which is also the lower eye where the shocks are mounted) to the top of the damper shaft would be about 45mm.
I think the maximum length of a 'regular' shock you could place there (if it were narrow enough) would be about 50mm.
