Did you do that following Jonny's guide. I have fine sandpaper but I don't have plastic polish. The best I have would be aluminum polish and toothpaste.

Been doing this thing for a while, even before Jonny wrote up his article but it would be a good guide.
I'd prefer the polish he's been using but my stash is Commandant. And a lot of different grid sandpaper... I "cheat" with polishing by not using elbow grease... A plastic chassis tub should be peanuts compared to FRP. |

I don't use elbow grease either. I use a setup close to yours. Anyway will upload progress pics of the chassis soon.
Also I have a excess Super Manta Ray and a Dirt Thrasher that I got from a garage sale. I plan on selling one of them. So the question I put to you would be which one would be worth more money at auction on EBay. The other will be kept as a parts car.

Depends on the state of the car and the mind of the buyer...
But generally they shouldn't be that much different in worth. The Ray is more of a novelty but if I recall correctly, the DT has the better parts. Save yourself some fees though and put it up for sale here first. |

The DT is more conventional and the old ta01 are easier to sell for spares their vintage style is in the way. But the super manta ray is rarer and maybe more atypic. ( with the Dirt thrasher you can make a 1st release manta ray wich is more popular in the collection circle).
