I remember a Readers Ride project in the RCCA magazine from the earlier days.

It was the 1:12 Revell Camaro that was converted to rc, one of my favorite riders ride ever.
Don't remember the chassis he used, but he did use those hub caps onto the chassis wheels.

I will try to find it so you may get some ideas

Wheeles are done. A little too large but the result is nice.

Still a small trimming for the height of the body. But I am glad about it.

Nice Flo.

If you want to make a bigger brother, both Proline and Axial does 56' Ford F100 bodies

I have a discontinued Proline F100 on one of my projects, I'm making a Herrington 4x4 replica (Herrington converted new F series and sold them with Ford warranty)

Thanks richard. This one is a long years project. Same if it keep on a shelf. I love realist scales. I haven't the skill to give it alive with a remote but this body is my first midnight body I abused younger. And to see it in a descent shape and on wheeles I am proud. And it was a free project.
now I need to find a body for my cw01 hybrid. Maybe keep the van spirit. ;)
