when it is finished it will be the ultimate rc car ever!!
needs a brushless motor

Thanks, I'm definitely considering a 10.5-13.5T bruhless system. :woohoo:
Don't think it'll have much of a problem with that in this setup.
But I am convinced (by now) it will need some better (hard steel) motor pinions for that.
So I've got some of the Robinson's coming this way... :cheer:
And some plastic idlers (rear gearbox) from a TA02 will do a better job too.

Btw - with all the replacements, I think I've almost stocked the parts to build a third chassis.

I think the only things missing were some front uprights and the screws for the suspension arms...
So I ordered some black uprights (don't like the red much) and a shaft bag.
Gonna have a lot of spare gear shafts now. :pinch:
If my calculations are right, I should be able to build a complete rolling chassis again.
Although RC building can always have some unexpected details...

why do you have hundreds of cars?

I wish, but in reality I only have a few - about five.
Of which I could maybe run two at a time with the electronics I have.
Still : :cheer:

I will yet again have a lot of reassembly to do on the cars...
These are the parts I've been gathering lately :

1 - FRP damper stays - press parts bag
2 - Top Force ball connector bag
3 - two sets of hardened Thunder Shot dogbones
4 - a bag of the strongest possible (black) ball connectors
5 - TA02 aluminium lightweight king pins
6 - Robinson 21T 0.6 mod pinions
7 - Manta Ray shaft bag
8 - spare TF Evo arms
9 - black uprights

The FRP damper stays (together with some parts from the ball connector bag) will go on the Manta Ray chassis.
Same goes for the dogbones - the current ones will go on the Hummer. That car still has the plastic joined parts...
The king pins are an option for when I want to give the car all silver parts, without any blue.

Both cars will get a hardened steel Robinson pinion. B)
The hollow aluminium gear shafts that are in the ball connector bag will be a nice upgrade for the blue (Humvee) chassis.
It still has the solid steel parts from the Manta Ray.
Of course the FRP car already has carbon shafts...

Still on it's way is a TA02 all plastic gear set. Also for the silver chassis.
I ordered this mostly for the plastic idler gear that goes in the rear gearbox.
The original part is the only one that is still made from metal...

I should now also be able to build another rolling chassis with the spare parts I already had and these new arrivals. :cheer:
Will probably sell that one though...

Finally the TA02 all plastic gears have arrived so I can start reassembly. :cheer:
And a new front gearbox...
The red one on the left was a bit of a mistake when ordering - that won't be used. :S

I'll be showing the result soon! :)

Question : who can spot the difference between the gearboxes, besides the colour?

Correctemundo! The red one is for an on road car and the other one has a buggy shock tower. :silly:
It shows the versatility of the chassis. B)
