Hilux front crossmember drawing 12 years 3 months ago #5435

I scare myself how sad I can be sometimes.... Rather than go to bed, I've just pulled my Hilux apart to measure this bit & draw it, cos I hear someone needs one & it was suggested it could be made (& I'm all for a bit of makage). I'm not a sheet steel fabricator, so don't really know what info they'd need, but if they want the CAD file, it's available, just ask. Please don't print it & stick it on Ebay....

Fantastic!
As an old CAD Engineer I appreciate nice drawing, and this one is up there.

This leads to an instant Tech Tip Award in Gold!

You'll probably find it'll work out expensive to get just one done - if it were me, I'd either have a bash at doing it myself OR investigate the market to find out if they're saleable (& how much someone would pay) & then get them made in a batch of say 100 (I'd lay money it'll cost you as much for 1 as for 100). I'd offer to do one for you but my sheet fabrication skills are poor, to say the least!
