Yes, that date and post code is correct. It is being held at A1 Racing Club, just North of Grantham Services on the A1.
You can see the track on Google Earth - there is a motorcycle motocross track and the smaller RC track next to it.
I could do with some pit crew

OK, it's this weekend.

Took the Rough Rider for a shake down run yesterday and the front suspension fell apart
To be fair, this is nostalgic as it used to do this back in the day
No broken parts, just need to break out the threadlock and cable ties

And since the ESC died on my TRX-3, I am now entered into two race classes and have NO running cars!
Busy days ahead.

Sorry Martin, the battery on my truck died saturday afternoon (No warning, just stopped producing current, despite a healthy 13V), so I ended up doing all the things I was supposed to do saturday, on sunday.

Was it any good?

It was a right laugh!

The Wheelie and Monster Truck races were hilarious. The funniest thing was the Bullhead in the MT race at full chat down the straight only to get into a huge tank-slapper before the corner and wipe out spectacularly on every lap.

Some video (not mine) of the Wheelie race - something like 30 cars - absolute chaos!
