Just found out the Bullhead was running 14.8V!!!!
My Rough Rider before: and after Survived one practice round and 4 races though. I finished the last 2 or 3 laps of the last race with only 3 wheels. The TRX-3 ran faultlessly but needed more power than the 27T motor could provde. The blue Brat is my son's. He managed to break a different front suspension arm on every single race. Not so much bad driving but old brittle plastic I think. Also, no diff and standard tyres made it a bit tail-happy. On the last race we had to bodge a broken lower arm to use as an upper one. A bit frustrating for him but a learning experience. |

The wheelie race - yep, I remember toy car racing, & why I gave it up...
Mental Bullhead - perfect example of why you don't make clods etc faster - having to be careful to avoid crashing because the more violent incidents cause more expensive damage, just isn't fun.
