So, i did a test run and the thing is doing so crazy gear noise and cant pull enough power to move more than 4 inches.

Any idea what I could have done wrong??

Thanks,
JS

Have you tightened the grub screw in the pinion gear to the motor shaft? Completely meshed the pinion to the spur gear?
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Sounds like diff or clutch slipping.

I will check this again to make sure, did put the pinion a while back, did not verify how tight it was the other night :)
As for the mesh, it was a little tight and thaught that was the problem, i will adjust this as needed after checking the pinion screw.

Think the Madcap has the same diff as the Monster racer, not known for its trouble free performance. :pinch:

:( the diff, gearbox, are the same as the monster racer and the kingcab. I only broke the motor support on my madcap. Changed with an aloy one (same as the astute and the kingcab) never had any problem with the madcap but I had à king cab wich had the transmission full bloked...
