Another chassis using the Astute gearbox. The Madcap chassis is the tow-tech version of the Astute, if you like, and in that respect a much more successful one. The simplicty of the Madcap increased durability, and popularity. The chassis basics are more or less the same as the King Cab, only the dampers are of the cheaper friction type.
