nz Topic Author Offline Being nuts is NEAT! Posts: 35 Likes received: 3	Hi, I'm new to Tamiya RC. I have an ACOMS 27MHz receiver in the car with a 27.255Mhz blue crystal. The controller has a missing crystal. Can I buy and use a pair of 50Mhz crystals in the transmitter and receiver? Would it work, or must I use 27MHz? Thanks

But with modern technology, you should use a 2,4ghz radio set. No more interférences and a radio set is cheap (less than 30€ for a set without servo) rcmodelstory.over-blog.com/

The 37.095 can't be used on the the 27mHz system. But 26.995 will work. And make sure they are for AM or FM systems. Both receiver, transmitter and crystals needs to be either AM or FM.
