Hi,
Is there someone in UK or Europe that can help me with all kinds of Tamiya questions. I have a second hand Subaru car I'm building, it has a few missing parts and I need help knowing what to buy. Ideally I need help talking to on whatsapp etc. If someone can give me a little time to teach me about Tamiya I will appreciate it! Thank you

Do you have the manual? Otherwise you can download it here:
www.tamiya.com/...u_brat.pdf That's most likely the rerelease manual, if you need something from the original manual, let me know, I have one lying about. Hope that helps. |

You will find many, many manuals to Download here:
tamiyabase.com/downloads Just search for the name or number of your kit. There are many Subarus to choose from, and if you can't identify it, let us see a picture and we will help. Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

I have three questions.
What are the electrical items in a TL-01 Subaru rally car? Servo ESC Receiver Motor Battery Is that all of them? I believe I have an analogue speed controller, it has cables melted and fused together! Can I replace this with an ESC like this one? www.ebay.co.uk/...SwSPBaXrlc Will that ESC work with any motor, receiver and servo? Thanks |

Yes, that's the electrical items. If your Scooby has a Mechanical Speed Controller (MSC), there will be two servos (steering and for MSC) and no ESC. Really old radio gear also had a separte battery for the receiver and servos, but your setup is probably not that old. Yes, you kan replace the MSC with a ESC. The one you link to will do the job, but I'll leave it to others to comment if there are better ones around. It will work with any normal motor, but you should keep an eye out for compatibility with your radio gear. What brand and type of radio gear do you have? Some pictures of what you've got would make it easier to help Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

They should work fine with a matching pair of crystals.
