Some of the Tamiya kit screws seem to require special screw-drivers, other than the PH1 I I use for most of the 3mm. screws. Are the Tamiya screw-drivers for this application unique? Please help, many thanks.

Tamiya crosspoint screws are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard), denoted by an indent on one quarter, the profiel is subtlely different to Philips & although you'll get them in all right with a PH screwdriver, getting them out tends to cause damage to the head. Look for Tamiya part numbers 74006 & 74007 are the best value - though they are often misdescribed as Philips head
