I haven't made such a thing, but if I was to: - flat plate from 2.5mm aluminium sheet patterned after the original switch stay, but without the vertical portions, drilled & tapped for M3 thread to suit the slots in the chassis tub; - another flat plate only as long as a servo but the full width of the bottom plate; - 4x aluminium standoffs to raise the top shelf to the height needed to meet the servo saver shaft, drilled & tapped M3, outside diameter no bigger than it needs to be (5mm?); - countersunk holes in the top & bottom plates, 8x M3 countersunk screws to hold the parts together. That should leave space for an ESC to fit between the plates. ESC & steering servo to be held on with trim tape. It would be quite possible to make the bottom plate extend back further to make an area to take the RX, and/or add holes to the top plate to take servo mount blocks.
