Hello there,

I spent now some time to find a specifc spare part. I am looking for the small brass sleeve to mount a pinion gear with 1/8" hole to a Mabuchi 380 shaft which is 2,3mm.

Did not find neither the  spare part nor the raw matrial (non cut brass pipe).

Anybody who knows where I can purchase those?

Thanks
harry

I've used Albion Alloys 1/8" brass tube (part #BT3) in that scenario, it's 3.17mm OD & 2.41mm ID.

Thx, but 2,41 seems to me too much clearance for a 2.3 motor shaft to get a good concentricity.

Just found out that Kyosho make a 3.2mm to 2.3mm adaptor - part # BL45

rc.kyosho.com/en/bl45.html

Turns out I was wrong about the inner dimension of the Kyosho sleeve - it's for a 370 motor, which has a 2mm shaft, unlike the the 360 and 380 motors that have a 2.3mm shaft :(

No Problem. After checking the prices and where I could buy the Kyosho part I decided to go for the pipes from Albion Alloys. Definetly some clearance to the shaft, but still acceptable. And much cheaper if you need more than one.

Just brought brass tube and got mine from this place

www.ebay.co.uk/...xy3NBSn1Tf

Ordered on 14th arrived today 16th well packaged and inexpensive. If you use this place the size is outside dimension with a0.45mm wall thickness eg 3mm is od and inside is 2.1mm
