Restoring A Vintage Porsche 956 - Need Help 3 years 8 months ago #61274

So I have a tough one here. Working on a Vintage Porsche 956. I am looking for title rods that are bent and approximately 1 3/4 inches (44-45mm) in length. I believe I could make straight ones work (by bending) and I think I might be able to make a 2 inch (50-51mm) one work.

I have a 2 inch one but would need two more. I thought it came from the Hornet, but the short one on the Hornet is longer.

Any idea where I can get 1 3/4 to 2 inch tie rods?

Ideally, a vintage C-Parts bag would be nice as I need another part there as well.

See pictures and as always, your help is greatly appreciated.

Larbut may be able to help you out since he have built plenty of kits..

Or else you could buy Dubro 2mm threaded rod and a Z-bend tool to make your own.
Airplane guys use that stuff all the time.
