Apologies for the rubbish cameraphone pictures:
Nicked the charged battery from my son's Frog, raided the kitchen drawer for 8 x AA cells for the Tx and IT LIVES! Run it round my (very small) patio and it is very easy to drive. ESC (GM V12) is forwards only, which I might have to change, but turning circle is very tight, so may be OK. Any comments on the motor? Hot or not? Edit: Please can someone tell me how to upload images |

Looks like the link code was right, not sure yet why these images can be hyperlinked.
Could be a temporary error... I'll take it up with Lars. Another option would be to use the "Add File" button below the text field when writing a post. You can browse your computer then... After that, click on "Insert" to make the image appear real size. Otherwise it will be added as a thumbnail. Edit - that motor looks very capable. Orion is a good brand. How many turns it is? |

Don't know. How can I tell? It doesn't seem to be written on it. |

Hi Martin, thank you for pointing this out, as I did not know there was a problem. Anyway it's fixed now, and code pasted from the gallery will show an image in the forum. -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

Nice one, Lars.
Pfew... tough one. Probably by measuring the length (without taking it apart) - if the specs were know. Or put it on a dyno to check the revs or power consumption. Least scientific approach would be to estimate by top speed. Looks like there's many version of it - down to 10T. Btw - I did see some specifications of these motors. Quite impressive. |

I needed a guinea pig for my final installment on painting, so bought the cheapest new lexan body I could find - 14 GBP for a Kyosho Porsche GT3, complete with window masks & decals
It was part of a DeAgostini "Nitro Racer" partwork - if you're not familiar with it, it was a way of paying 600 GBP for a 200 GBP car I guess there are a lot of incomplete ones out there, but at least they have some value - unlike the DeAgostini EP partworks... It actually arrived last Wednesday, but I needed a bit of time to finish it Chassis is my TT-01 (which usually has an RS200 shell on it) for test fitting, it really needs wheels with 9mm offset I doubt if I'll run it, I probably won't even keep it - it's use was really only in the photos I took of the painting process. |
