That's a very nice purchase Lars. I know I'd love to have one myself. :y:

By the way, a closer look at the Museum Grasshopper in the picture show the rear tires' paddles are backwards, plus there is no chrome line on the buggy roof's pilar, and the driver's name decal is wrongly placed. I'll never cease to wonder why Tamiya doesn't ever seem to get their own cars done properly.

Oh, just after a glance, there's more to get annoyed about in the book, if you're into the details. But still a nice book because it fits my focus, the first 100 models.

I got this today. The original speed controller for the Toyota Hilux 3 speed.
I now have all the parts for a build.
It’s in really good condition, I always find that photos sometimes don’t do a part justice. I got it post Christmas which I’ve found is a good time to get lucky.
Last year I picked up an original Blackfoot for the body, grill and rear panel because they still had the “ Ford “ logos and the grill is still the same as the original SRB Ranger.

This year is going be spent building and a lot of painting, but hopefully not buying.

The only bits I’m after this year are for the Blazing Blazer I’ve possibly got 80% of the bits for. I need to sort through that pile and get it organised.

I hope everyone has a good year with whatever projects they are lining up.

Well I can try.
I did spend my time off over Christmas looking over my builds on the site and I really do need to start finishing some projects off.
