Got a few things in the post today but also had a couple of failures.

Some more bearings, I think I have enough now for the next few builds, some cap head and dome head machine screws but the nuts didnt arrive with them unfortunately. Hopefully in the next few days

As I said in another thread I popped into my local model shop and got some TS16

Had a 30cm length of 3mm brass tube arrive along with 2 empty packets that should have had 2mm 4mm and 5mm brass tube in them, Unfortunately they were empty bags so emails have been sent. So thats the fails...

Also popped into the local hardware and got some Aluminium angle and flat bar for a chassis project and also strengthening plates for the hornet chassis. I'm still after some other profiles to make other parts and chassis rails but they will have to come from another source as they didn't have anything else at my local

Still got loads in the post, so plenty of thread additions in the future :)

I told you I'd ordered loads, A couple more things arrived today.

Hobbywing 1060 esc
Blue aluminium 98mm oil filled shocks

Got some inexpensive softer replacement springs as the ones that come on the shocks are way to hard. I do prefer the look of the black springs but plated ones are going to look ok.
I think the 4 large ones are 70mm and the smaller ones are 55mm. If the cars were heavy they may be ok as standard. Maybe the hard shocks would be ok in these rock crawlers with metal chassis but in the plastic Tamiya models are way too light.

More to come lol

OK, so this is look at what the mailman brought this week!!!

Got my Wild Dagger (gonna be a runner!) , chrome rims, oil fiiled Tamiya shocks, full set of ball bearings and 2 Tamiya BZ motors for it!! Can't wait to start it. I guess it takes its place in line!

Also got some interior pieces for my 72 LeMans GT. Got my dash surround with wood grain applique and my new dash cover. Still waiting for new upholstery for the seats.

Never seen a wild dagger. Looks like a nice kit.

Few more things arrived today.

M3x25mm cap head machine screws
Finally my bag of M3 Nyloc nuts
Replacement m3 and m4 brass tube perfect for those shock bushes that vanish. Plus the m3 slides into the m4 perfectly so If I need a m4 bush with an m3 hole I have the answer. I also have m5 which can be used for the gearbox axle spacer. Just trying to cover all possibilities.

A new lipo pack, Tamiya kits ready...

The robitronic was few millimeters too long, the brainergy one is perfect for the Hornet with the Ampro Engineering battery holder...
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

4000 is about the limit for most vintage vehicles regarding lipo batteries.
But most is still a tad too long or wide.
My Gens Ace 4000 won't fit in my TL01 chassis, thickness is spot on, but it's to wide to go in.

I just got this.
Found it on Redbubble which is a site I just found.
There is a lot of Tamiya related items, mostly clothes, bedcovers etc...

This Brainergy pack from Yuki Model is 134x45x24 mm (1mm more if you count the part at the wire exit). It does fit all my cars, except the Lunchbox Mini. I got confirmation on another forum before firing the order... I will have to replace the Deans plug as I'm running XT60, but this is not an issue. Your Gens Ace 4000 is likely 137 mm long (138 if you count the part where the wire exit), same as my Robitronic 4200...
