Why aren't the firsts tamtechs on these beautifull site?
they are maybe not in the 100st models but they make part of the old tam story. Tamiya was the first to make a 1/24th remote controled car.
Personnally I've got a testarossa, a porsche, 2 other long frame, 2 ferrari fi and a lotus f1.


I think that they have there place on tamiyabase because they are soldout and very vintage
P.S.: I have a xmods and miniz but tamtech are so better and we can put on a lot of diferent bodies.
I have a friend who made a tamtech with a shoes box as body in competition.

I like TamTech myself... at least there's a topic about them now.

Tamtech is a grey area to me so id definitely be interested in seeing some pictures of the cars if anyone has any

At the 1/24th, there is 2,5 types of frame wich are different at the wheelbase.
The first, the small as blue rods and very short wheelebase. It is for the 961 porsche and I think the countach.
The medium one is the same frame, but the motor is in second position. It is the testarossa
The long chassis is different and it has white rods and different stering system.It is the frame for all le mans type bodies and a lot of die cast bodies.

There is an other type wich was snubed. It is the 1/14th f1 type. There are 2 or 3 types of bodies. A ferrari, a lotus and I think a third wich I don't remind.

I think my only interest in the Tamtech cars was thinking that the name Tamiya chose for the batteries was very unfortunate, if you had more than one ...
