Here's my handy tutorial on improving Ansmann motors:

step one: buy a decent silvercan motor



step two: unsolder leads from Ansmann motor, resolder to new silver can



step three: dispose of unwanted parts

Made some diy damper mounts for the black fleet. 2 are of to the UK.
