So I’ve been buying up the parts for a Toyota Hilux.
Here it is next to my Ford F-350 chassis.

But after looking back over some of the amazing builds on here.
I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the results.

So today I stripped it down so I could replace some of the parts that are a bit rough.
And I’m going to clean and polish it to a better standard.

I slightly feel like going back to square one, but it’s not been wasted.
The tyres have all been treated to a glycerine bath and it really helped them.

A lot of the little bits are fine. And I’m going to replace pretty much all of the fasteners.

Really nice, can’t wait to see your resto pictures and how it progress.

Hi Manuel, I’ve ordered a few final bits to help put it together, such as plastic polish to clean up the mechanism box, some grease for moving bits and some heat shrink to keep the wiring tidy.
The build starts soon.
Cheers.

Some progress on the 58013 March 782 BMW.
Rear end detail painted. Test fitting the body.

I found the below images of the real March 782 BMW and made the model in the same style.

There she's finished!
Very happy with the result, even the stripes turned out aligned on both sides. It took a lot of test fitting to get those where they are now. :-)

This is the third F-2 finished for the shelf. One F2 CS to go :y:

Decal fitment:

Stripes in place

Beautiful! I have never seen one of these chassis in the flesh, only in pictures. Maybe some day.
