I saw a 1972 Matchbox Mod Tractor the other day on eBay, that version is only c.55mm long but the styling & general idea made me think of your tractor, & I didn't remember seeing it finished ...

Thanks Alan. Yep the madcap is for a friend and a joblot of mantaray. Sooner will be my own madcap for a check and clean and my new tiny 205 wich need some care. Like a dogbone and front arm support (but it is only the beginning)

Thanks for the comment. I sold my custom IH tractor a few months after I tested it, which is what you can see in the pictures.

I had that Matchbox tractor back in the 70's. Love it to death! Later on I discovered Matchbox did a larger die-cast version of it for their SuperKings series. That tractor also included a super cool trailer. I have it now in my collection. Here's some pictures... perhaps this will inspire you?
