So I decided to give another chance to my hybride scratch hybrid lunch box built. It is now running with recycled parts. Just need to clean the electronic and find a 2 ways radio. And it does wheelings :woohoo:
Wheeles will be ascona/ lancia rallyes ones but rims are in caustic soda to remove paints and maybe the body a WW2.

Hi Mongoose those Cheetah tyres look awesome on the front. Great looking truck.

Thank you, the truck is still in the making. I also love how the Cheetah tires look. In the past I've used XR311 tires on my Frog and liked them a lot. Helps a lot the fact that they're the same diameter of the Sand Scorcher's.
Anyway, here's the inspiration truck:

Other than that, today I replaced the rear shocks of my Lunchbox. The gold ones lifted the truck almost 7mm and did not like the look, so I had to remove them immediately. Wasted time and some Tamiya fluid in the process. Not happy.

These are the ones I installed:

And this is how it looked with them on:

But in the end I took the Lunchbox back to stock...

Y'all stay saf and have a good week! :)

That’s a cool looking truck. I think yours is spot on.
I didn’t know the Cheetah and XR311 tyres where the same diameter as the Sand Scorcher. I’m assuming that’s the fronts.
Thanks and take care,

Al

Yes Al, the front ones fit alright. I am very much against stretching tires. I know rubber is fragile and these things are expensive you don't want to ruin them.

And yes, no way to find a rear buggy wheel to fit the Cheetah tires.
