I think I’ve managed to get the final bits for my 934 build today on eBay.
I’ll wait ‘til they turn up. It’s basically the coloured lens trees and chrome.
They’ll be off the static kit, but I don’t care if it allows me to pretty much finish the body, give or take a couple of bits.

Quite a simple job today.
I soldered on a new lead to plug this into the receiver.
This is my Demon electronic speed controller from about 1984/85.
My dad took me to the model shop owned by the gentleman behind Demon to buy this. I’m guessing this wasn’t a huge journey, but my usual go to model shop was Windsor Models ( yes in Windsor, the place with the castle ), so I’m guessing they didn’t stock it. I think that was a fair bit of pocket money at the time to buy this.
I’m pretty sure it went straight into my Hotshot, I was clearly taking this rc car thing seriously.

Any way back to today, new plug fitted and connected up, it works !!!!
Result.

It’s probably about the size of 4 modern esc’s.

Cheers Flo. I guess it’s been well looked after ??
I love the size comparison with this Tamiya esc.
I’ll be putting it in a vintage build.

Cheers Al.
