Hey Flo, It's called Nutmeg It is darker in reality  

And Camo The thin base coat is brilliant and airbrushing the other 2 colours gave me plenty of ability to change the pattern until I was happy

 

A bit of paintjob to after a day of work...

• First to be able to attack the bag B of the Super Hotshot, I tried to make a proper figure to the driver. It's my 5th pilot figure paint, I progress a bit, but I also tend to try more complicated things. At one point, the eyes will look better. That being said, the pictures look quite bad while with my glasses and my eyes it looks better :-D

• Then as the Black Metal spray was at hand, I washed the Hard body of the Lunchbox Black edition and sprayed it. It does look much better now. Still have details to do with some acrylic paints (rear lights, side indicator, few other details). But already happy with the result. I maybe able to finish this Lunchbox body tomorrow...

Week end with my daughter and my grandson. Too happy with his smiles.

The Barbapapa's one seems to have great success on internet. I've posted pics on few forums and FB groups, and it got quite good feedback (some people were curious about how I got it done, but most like its fun factor ). Thanks again to Flo to have hinted me this idea :-D


 

Seems that finishing the Lunchbox was not enough for today...

Took benefit of the sun to advance my Super Hotshot build. I'd like to finish it by June, when next kits are planned for arrival (not sure my domestic dragon will let me start any of them in June, but normally, the Hunter should allow me to maintain activities over the summer before starting those ones).




Parts bag B is done. Next will be bag C. I will need to source a low profile servo as the DS3218 I have available is apparently too bulky for this build on its top end. The next stage will start by building the 4 dampers (it's a Super HotShot), and then by mounting the steering servo. Now, that being said, I'll only work on Wednesday this week, so I may take the freedom to start this activity before next saturday... And if some of you ask why I did not created a build thread already, the reason is I'll do it once at least the chassis is completely done (and yes, I like to do some teasing )!

Today I have cleaned some metal bushings and cleaned my bench a little.
Also laid a new towel on the bench as I have dismantled one of my Big Bears today and gave the plastic bits a soapy bath.

I recognized the Big Bear chassis before reading your post :-D
Seems I'm getting really familiar with those Marui cars... At some point, I may feel the need to find a Samurai, a Big Bear and a Tbird Coors
