Today I've been messing with HIPS filament. Another learning curve that I haven't learned yet
I found this on stl finder and thought I'd try to print it. I think it came out fairly well, I will do another print now I think I have the settings dialled in. Also printed off a few parts for various cars, Chassis rails for a WPL C24 A tray for Lunchy#2 for the receiver and esc A scaled down Pickup front ( to see if it would print) of a possible body for Lunchy#3 That was on low quality mode just to test the waters This is the full size version, Going ok so far..... Fingers crossed I've also built up a new gearbox for the Hornet and fitted bearings. Made new top wishbone arms with longer threads for the FrankenHopper and fitted steering knuckles as well as 3d printed blocks for where the gearbox attaches to the chassis with the pivot bar. Need a battery cover as the grasshopper one doesn't fit so looking at designing one in Fusion but then again for £4.99 I just might buy one. The Ampro one I printed fits the Hornet great. That's about it for now Lee Regards

Well the pickup front came out looking pretty good.
Only a couple of faults, one bar missing from the grill and a few ridges in the front which I think can be fixed quite easy. So now I will attempt a full print of the shell, in parts due to size. After a quick measure It seems slightly narrower so I will adjust the model by 9mm before I print it so its the same width as the lunchbox body. Regards

Lee I ran a used rere fav and except the rear fake shocks too soft, I had no matter with it. I made a skid / bumper for the gearbox. I only ran it on parking but I had fun with it.

I think they are very robust, I raced one at a Vintage meet and it withstood my driving a bumpy track with plenty of jumps, A total of 4 races and it's still good If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate
