I don't know. Only what I know, is that the motor is stamped: VECO 19.
It looks like an airplane motor with a very big "fly wheele". It looks like a hand made car full aloy. Sponge tires are dry but in very good condition. I have no docs of mardave and I knew this trade with tamiyabase |

My thoughts exactly. The radio box looks a bit Mardave too. My guess would be a home-made job with Mardave bits, although the factory Mardave cars can look a bit home-made |

Scratch that - it's early 70's Mardave Alfa More edits: If you read the PDF, you will see that it mentions the "1/8th scale version of the Matra-Simca MS120 Formula 1 racer", which is even earlier and was the first R/C car in the UK market. I reckon that is what you have there. Probably very rare and historic. See also - www.tamiyaclub....&sid=24756
