Hi All,
I managed to get a bulk lot of parts earlier this week. I've manage to identify everything bar one gearbox (pic below). I've gone through all the cars I think it could belong too, and its similar to the Golf or Renault gearbox, but it would never fit one of those cars. So any help would be appreciated,

That is the gearbox for the "CS" chassis:

Thanks Lars, I wasn't too sure as the motor mount plate is on the opposite side of this one. Its like its reversed, but why bother to make one like that?

It was hop-up for 540 motor, normal 380 size. This was standard for the CS chassis

okay, I've worked out its actually a RS-540SD black motor and gear case hop up. If only I had the motor that goes with it!

Smaessen, I was going through my box of bits before and realised I have a spare renault/gold gearbox. While not exact, it will fit as the chassis plates are the same. Anyone willing to confirm/deny? Pics of the two side by side below.

Thank you for your kind offer. I just won an ebay auction of an Countach in pretty bad condition, but he, it has the motor mount .
