It is strange seeing this as I am watching the 2013 round 2 in Tasmania right now! :lol:


Nice mate :) the next round for us its @ the circuit of the Americas, Austin Texas :) you still have the Auckland and Perth rounds to look forward too :)

In Europe it is called Opel Commodore. Actually a Nice looking car. :)

Here it was also known as the Opel Commodore. It was later replaced with the Record. Unfortunately the biggest engine it ever came with was a 3.8L straight six.

:) Holden is the australian european version of opel trade. The comedore was a old 70's car. GM is all around the world :silly:

Hey Andyaus... I had a '84 VK, 4 door with body kit (as I couldn't afford a Blue Meaney). Used to love watching Peter Perfect race against Dickie Johnson at Bathurst. Those were the days! B)

UK version was the Vauxhall Senator. I had the coupe version of the Commodore with a 3.0 straight six, the Opel Monza GSE - very 80's in white:

(not mine, but it looked like this).

:laugh: GSE versions are the sport version like the kadett. Equall to all the vintage GTIs. In my mind, vintage OPEL, VAUXHALL, HOLDEN, xere so heavy than the tiger tanks... :P Like the cox doors

These are the latest Commodores from Holden, The HSV GTS sedan and Maloo ute :ohmy:
