Hello all,

I'll buy a vintage rc car; the seller says that it is a 1/10 Tamiya car but he does not know the model.
The chassis seems a Quick Drive Series but it is different.

I need help to identify this car.

Agree with Waterbok, I cant find any Tamiya chassis (QD or normal) similar to that.
Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

That looks more to à mix of several models. À terra scotcher wing. A dit thrasher body and a strange chassis. Maybe a graupner or robbe one???. And the megane trophy doesn't realy look like that

... + Bigwig/Boomerang front bumper, front shock towers same but in black ...+ a chassis/gearbox that looks to have been inspired by the Hornet/Grasshopper ... I think it's either a spares box special someone has put together starting with a toy grade car - or it's a toy grade car that's been "designed" by blatantly copying aspects of various Tamiya cars.

Either way, i think it's something to be avoided

The chassis is a toy the servo looks like a nikko one. 4 or more wire, L form and the switch has no protection.

It looks very painful & I hope it never has the chance to breed. If I was given it I'd pull it apart & put them into the parts data base. I certainly wouldn't allow it continue in that poor state & put it out of its misery. Who says euthanasia is a bad thing??!! :woohoo:
My other car is a Tamiya - bumper sticker on my van
