I only ran a little one of my tl01 in drift. Never used my tl01b.

I can comfirm you have a TL01 chassis, which is one of the platforms I love.

TL01 has never been released to my information.

Stingray means oil damper, or shocks if you want.
If you don't want to fit Tamiya Mini CVA shocks (CVA is short for Constant Volume Adjustable - which means oil shocks), you can fit any 55mm shocks ment for touring cars.

I recently put back my TL01 that have been sitting for several years.

This might be a Carson kit?
At least the decals are not Tamiya, but Carson. Maybe the original decals were replaced with Carson's at one time, or maybe the kit was one of Carson's where they bundled a Tamiya chassis with their own body/decal?

I think it is #58283, the only Tamiya 996 on TL01 with 257mm wb. There was another 996 with 257mm wb on TG10 #44036 afaik, same body.

Decals of carson as stated above.

This is a different body to the 996 #58208 that Tamiya had on the M02-L, that is 239mm wb:

I think that any 55mm length shocks are suitable. If you want tamiya ones, these are cheap.
