Wahoo. Still a lot of work. I saw that the sunroof are fragile due to plstic parts are brocken. You can modify them with golf bits? That's perfect.
I can't wait to see this beauty. |

Not so much here in cold climate. I have never seen that plastic part break, and I have been into Capris since 95' Yeah loads of work ahead of me. But at least the dreaded bodywork is history, I hate doing bodywork. Now there is just front and rear suspension on it, the rest is taken off, including all bolts, wiring, headliner, interior, enginebay bits.

Yep, have followed Fredrik's build since he started on it on the scale4x4 forum. Love his build. Check out the Volvo 245 build in the onroad section, that is my favorite build to watch right now. I'm going to atempt to do a similar build in full styrene in the future, just being a Capri instead of Volvo... A few days ago I sent an mail to a company that makes styrene sheets here in Norway, but they don't deal with the public. Styrene is expensive around my neck of woods.

There is also a file for a Mk3 Capri online to be bought, but it's missing some of the shape and details. I've also come over one that sells files for a Mk1 Capri, I may go that route as that seems much more accurate than the Mk3 from somewhere else. If you get files and know how to do it, you can scale a 3d print to any wheelbase, like popular 257mm. A real Capri has wheelbase of 2560mm, so in 1:10 scale it pretty much bang on for a touring chassis

I totally understand how slow these projects go sometimes. My Pontiac is 20 plus years in the making and although it is painted and such, they are never done and sometimes take forever.

Glad to see another Capri coming back on the road
Austrailia only got Mk1, but there have been imported a few Mk3's over the years. Think Sidney has one of the biggest Capril clubs in OZ if I remember right |

Have done anything Capri related for a while.
But I have ordered a 3/4 centre console like this as my mates was about to send a order from the place that is selling these (Capri Club International in UK) Looks like this when installed These are basicly of same design as those fitted to the Tickford Turbo Capri. Btw Tickford is Aston Martin owned. These are very rare, under 100 was ever made and the cost the same as a Porsche 944 Turbo, or double the amount for a standard Capri 2.8i. Picture show a custom Capri with the CCI centre console just to be clear. My cd player has been located under the dashboard, but will be moved to the centre console, as will future heated seat and future electric window swithes along swithes for remote mirrors. On top of dashboard where the radio used to be I will keep the 2" instruments, or upgrade with new ones. Under the dashboard where the cd player used to live it will house the ecu for my future EFI swap, along with new fuse boxes for live and ignitoin controlled power. Next items I will need to order is new windscreen and tailgate window rubbers as mine has shrinked and no longer fit as they should. Due next to no budget atm, this will take a while to save enough funds. There has been 0 to -11C since new year so there has not been weather to paint small bits etc. My car is also in a storage unit where I'm not allowed to do any work on it.
