Being inspired by this thread I got all my stuff ready to rebuild the Lunchy gearbox, new bearings, grease, tools all set, I even managed to grind down my 1/4 inch socket adapter to 4mm so it fits in my new screwdriver...  only to find that the new gearbox case is missing,  I don't know where I've put it. SO then I question myself, did I order one? I thought I had. Checked through my emails for order details and Nope I don't think I ordered it. So now I have ordered 2 so I can start the Hornet straight after.  Sometimes I wonder if I am losing my mind. 

Well! The sun was here today. So a chance to work in the "backyard". 
2 hours to remove the glue in the transmission with white spirit. And 1h to end the built of the chassis. 80% of what I wanted but I am in love...

Main sanding is now ended. ( Easier than I thought) . The cover should be in frp but now a lexan plate is easier.I will glue some reinforcement sticks under the cover. 
next step, glue the cover on the bed with revell glue, adjust the plate and fill the last holes. And paint.
Interior and leds.

So, the lunchy is back to the mancave. Now it's time to take an eye on the midnight pumpkins.
I found a little too old radio but it is coherent.
An acoms mkII. It works with new cells and crystals.

Here is the primary state... Now, I doubt about the radio set... I still have a sanwa dash. The time will say....

All parts cleaned and the chassis is now rebuilt.
