Just want to say thanks to Lars for your hard work in getting the TB site back up and running. I've been cowering in a corner, shaking and muttering while it has been down.
Couldn't access PMs yesterday, but they seem to be working today.

My gender shows up as "unknown" in posts, but I can't see where to change it in my profile.

Dates of birth - in my profile, this says only age in years will be visible, but I see that when you hover over the present icon in peoples post (e.g. andyaus's, above), a full date of birth is shown.

It seems that I cannot see the "other" page or the "how to" in the index?

Both issues sorted. I have not used "gender" as I believe this is a 99,9% male community.
I'm sorry about the birthday thing, it's now gone from the forums. Age still shows in the profile.

Hi Lars,
congrats on creating a fantastic site, I especially liked the 1:1 info pages that you added. I can appreciate the amount of time and effort you've put into this.

I do notice that loading can be a little slow for me though. I do some web work myself, and I use gtmetrix (gtmetrix.com) as a good test for performance bottlenecks. For speed increases a big one can be caching and compressing images before they are sent. If you've built the website with something like wordpress or Joomla, there are several plugins that can speed up a site.

Either way, thanks for the hard work,

cheers

Johann
