Thank you sir!

Then it's only the thickness of the wheel adapter that make the Lunchbox ones go a bit further out

I bet that is TG10 wheelaxle and TG10 hex used on that.
I got some of those as well

If I remember correctly, the shape of the Hummer rear arms is the same as the TA02SW.

Edit - assembled in mirrored direction...

yes Edo. They are the same but bigger and in 2 parts like the df01.

The DF01 suspension arms are not going to work, they are far too wide, which I suspected.
Bolted some spare wheels on my Lunchbox axle, and they are 28cm on the outside.
Bolted the same wheels onto the DF01 arms, using TG10 wheelaxle and the orginal wheel adapter, and they measured 34cm, whooping 6cm wider.

Rear DF01 arms are 70mm wide, hinge pin to hinge pin.
TL01 arms are 40mm, so with those I will be able to get the stock width of a Lunchbox at 28cm, 29cm if counting the tires.
Did a little research last night and it seems WR02CB uses sligthly longer arms than the TL01, about 6mm or so.
With those I will get the stock look, but a tad wider, which should help the handling.

Today I did some repairs to the Lunchbox rear axle holders as some of the holes were stripped.
I fitted helicois. Drilled the holes with 3.2mm drillbit and screwed them in.
Have several of these in my Lunchbox spare parts stack, but since these needs to be modified (basicly to be able to fit the motor), they were perfect canditates to be used.

And a bomb did go off

Have taken the most needed measurements now and also did a quick drawing of the new chassis.
Tomorrow I can start to trace the measurements onto a 2mm aluminium plate and hopefully have a chassis shortly.
Just need to figure if I want the upper deck to be above or below the gearbox housing.
There is no room for the servo where it used to be located on a Lunchbox, and there is also no room where it usually sits on a FRP style chassis, so think the only solution is to fit the servo in front of the rear gearbox and behind the battery.
Speaking of battery, I plan on using two orginal Lunchbox battery holders to keep it place sideways and think I'm going for velcro for stick it to the chassis.

Yesterday I bought some tools that came to use today.
Center punch and 4 in 1 ruler set.

Made the upper chassis today.
Was not sure itf it would be mounted under the gearboxes like on the FRP kits, or above, so I only included the needed holes.
Speaking of holes, ofcourse on the last hole the drill bit decided to wander a bit, but it did turn out okay.
Made from 2mm aluminium sheet.

Fits like so

Front setup.
By mounting it above the gearboxes, it will almost lay on the belly of the Lunchbox chassis.

Rear

I fits like I wanted it to

Battery will still be located like an orginal chassis layout.
And think the servo needs to be located between battery and rear gearbox.
Obviously the battery will be fitted to the lower chassis and so will the servo.
Servo rod have to go above the battery, which there will be plenty of room for.

That's how far I got today.
But basicly it's 4x4 now if I fit all the missing parts

Great work, I don't know how you work it all out. I'm struggling with a basic ladder chassis lol.
