The cc01 has 2 pieces to lock the diff. They replace the satellites.

Don't think I have pictures of that. The forum I used to post a lot is gone. But simply those small pieces is filling the diff cavity and give the diff a little give while driving. It's not fully locking, but is fully locking when the small gears are turned enough and those little bits gets jammed into the gears. If you drive a lot, the rubber band bits might be ground to even smaller bits and in the end it might work almost as a open diff. Another way of doing it is the add another shim under the bevel gear so the diff gets tight gear mesh. I don't like this particular way as the gears will wear prematurly. Another way is to fill the diff with 500.000wt + diff oil. That stuff is thick! It is nearly not fluid anymore so most likely it will not leak as the CC01 diff is not sealed. Think this is my prefered method for slowing down diffs. Remeber to lubricate pinion and main diff gear as usual. I'm using Tamiya grease on most things.

I used 1000000 oil/grease in my usa1 nitro crusher diffs. That avoid the centrifugation of wheeles. But now it's not easy to find.

The thicker ones seems to be hard to find atm yes. Think the last one I used was 2.000.000 or 5.000.000
