I ended up buying a NIB 30th TA05 5 years 2 weeks ago #54505

So I hunted this down and found this for 700$ and bought it. Any thoughts ? Guy claims that’s what it cost retail new... to sell, it shelf it or even run it... oof decisions !

I’m really torn If that’s in fact a 700$ msrp I may wanna keep it. Thoughts ?

In today's terms of value, you've payed an honest price. A good price even.
As of collectibility.... I don't believe it is as valuable or ever will be as valuable as top 50 material.
So, I would say: build it! :y:

Seen those chassis build for absurd low prices, I reckon unbuild it will keep a better value.

Every solution is good. But the better is to buy another one and build one and keep the other . ;)

It’s gonna be hard to keep this I just don’t have room in my cabinet... I’m currently looking to sell one of my ta03 that are new. But I want 200$ under what I spent and that’s still 500$ so not sure how long that will take.

That looks like the older sensorless motor (TBLM-01). The TBLE-02s is for use with the newer sensored motors like TBLM-01s (54272).

I have one as well and paid a similar price, however that is NOT MSRP. I think it was something like $300 when new. The higher price reflects its current market value based on rarity and collectibility. Many are going for a lot more than that, actually.

Tamiya 54611 RC Motor 10.5T Brushless TBLM-02S Thats the motor I grabbed along with *NEW TAMIYA ESC TBLE-02S Electronic Speed Control TBLE... Did I pair that correctly ? not sure what batteries to get what would be a good battery I want to just get a couple nice ones to alternate. Should I get the : Sensor cable ? What does it even do ?

Yes, that should work just fine. The sensor cable comes with the motor so you don't need to worry about it. Any 2s LiPo of about 3000-4000 mAh would be a good match.
