Mirroman's Blitzer Beetle - 1 year 1 month ago #73953

Great car , and fun to build . Must say it took more time than there initially looked to finish this one off .. took a few days to complete.

I recommend anyone to have one of these in your collection - but I do love Beetles.

I'm trying a Surpass Hobbies 21t motor & ESC combo in this one - see what these are like.

It is a old chassis and it had a lot of runs.

I was lazy on the week-end just past , and didn't run the Blitzer.
But this weekend looks like a good chance - will also run my Kyosho beetle I think.

I am now settling for 21,5t motors. Fast enough for me old fart.

Agree , I think I'll settle with brushed standard Mabubui , and for more oomph maybe 23t and 21t motors.

I do have 2 x brushless set-ups I purchased a while ago, but those aren't that powerful, so I will use them in something.

Haha....  I've settled on the standard Tamiya 540 that comes in the kit, which is fast enough for me
