Assembly of my Tamiya FF01 Jaccs Civic 3 years 11 months ago #59880

The FF01 chassis is already assembled, I'm adjusting the height of the bubble, I already put Jaccs stickers on the wheels, the tire stickers I had them done, the windshield wiper is made in 3D printing that is not included in the kit, and the Tow Hook.

Update !!! I'm doing the car's disc brakes, but I'm going to put only the discs, because I don't want to cut the supports that are inside the wheels, they are original and here in Brazil it is very difficult to find ...

had a FF01 for a while and the biggest issue with it and the common problem is the screws connecting top and bottom to the chassis/motor section as there 10mm tappers, your better replacing three 15mm top and the two at bottom with 20mm as the no drilling is required as the holes are set that deep this also strengthens the plate fixings covering gearbox and i bet the holes cracking would never happen, makes you wonder if that was the plan on design at start, same goes for screws for top suspension back and front, as m3x30mm bolts straight though is a better option as you get damage were the screws fit i.e cracking but you need to drill straight though to sort that.
