Screws holding the MSC plate in were very corroded, but a bit of patience in tickling them with a fibreglass pen had them out ....

... although I did manage to make the one chewed up screw a lot worse:

Now I have a pile of dirty bits on my bench - back to normal then :D

Hey JR, I have a few bit from my old Frog, I'll check tonight, list them, and if you need them, I'll ship them up to you...

Thanks LB :y:

I think I'm pretty well sorted for the few bits this one needs, can I get back to you if I turn out to be very wrong when I put it back together? :)

Ok, I'm definitely going to need a headlamp (parts Z5 & Z7, I was sure I had some of them  ) and a battery endplate (part A1), but I'm sure the list will grow :( / :)

Have done a little work on this, mostly redrawing the decals & separating them out in to what needs printing on clear vinyl ...

... & white:

Repro body is lacking in detail & will need lots of fettling, but it will do:

"Opened" the hump pack with a razor saw - cells have all leaked & are bulging ...

Wires are rotted all the way along

Rusty bits before ...

... and after:

I have also replaced the manky connectors on the MSC & motor:

Should have added that I corrected the typos on the decal sheet - "BEIST" on the window netting & "Ownner Danny Johnson"

I've also been thinking about the colour to paint it ... I quite like the green, but as I probably won't be keeping it ( ) it seems a bit silly to reduce its resale value by half

Thanks :) But TBH, I was more impressed on the work on the decals ... even if I did miss the dot off the i on the "I heart Racing" decal :pinch:

Yes, very nice work on the decals as well of course. :)
The shocks just give a cool "before" and "after" effect...
