One problem sorted

My chassis had two screw holes that had no grip in them, so today I fitted M3 helicoils with help of home made tools

Worked like a charm No more spinning screws!

Just need to find some energy to do stuff these days..

Finally I got back to work on this.

Polished up the metal parts, still need to do the springs and some other stuff I forgot.
I also polished the screwpins from the spare chassis, handy to have some ekstra ready to be replaced

Also polished the gearbox with plastic polish, not perfect, but good enough

Driveshafts got greased and fitted to the gearbox.
And the c clips I got from Larbut, has got missing after cleaning my workbench.
For now I made some, but they are too thick to be able to complete the gearbox as they won't bolt together as the diff is to wide with the homemade clips fitted.
So time to re clean my bench in hope to find those clips

At least it looks complete...

Also this project needs new bearings since the old bearings still feel gritty after cleaning them.
Will order them shortly.
