Yeah, that's the earliest version of the body, but the gearcase is not. Also, I see the Ujoints are from a Superchamp. Great truck!!

I wasn’t sure about the Ujoints, but almost sure it should be fitted with brass ones. Does the gearboxcase has to be like the Mk1 Rough Rider and SS to match the body ? Thank you Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

You have the correct chassis-bits to ,match the body.
Remember, the Ranger came out ~2 years after the SS / RR, when the reinforcements/upgrades made to the chassis would have been done. As mentioned by mongoose, the UJ's are upgrades, from the Super Champ. Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

While the body is almost finished, the mechanical was very easy to do. Everything was clean, i just had to replace the front shock screws, put the 4 small screws of the reciever box in place and install the correct brass UJ’s.
In addition to that, i fitted the electronics, MCS and both servos. I’m still missing the small rods from the servo to MSC. Replaced both UJ’s Also replaced the front bumper... i had one in reserve that looks much better than the other one. Proud owner of the Bruiser Family
