Also had a set of new wheels.. so i decided to replace the old ones. I know it sounds lazy...especially while the old ones are easily recoverable.



Assembled them



And started with the lettering

I finished this resto without having to do any big work on the mechanical part as everything was already in a good state.
Here a few pictures of the almost finished Ranger.
I already found the missing MSC rods but the postage the sellers are asking for is just way to high.

Awesome job. My first Tamiya I bought in 1983 was a Ranger. My heart still skips a beat when I see one. Especially as nice as yours! Congrats!

Thank you, I’m pretty happy having this Ranger in my collection too.
The next project on my list is a Datsun 240 ZX... like the one on your profile pic. I just hope it will look as good as yours. Wait and see ha ha ha
