Another project that was sitting on my "to Do" shelf for a while.

This is how i got it :

The final pics reveals how hard the poor car was used and abused…. The front shock holders are broken (as almost all of them) the tires are worn out and body has suffered.

I started removing all the decals in order to start working on the body...the mechanical part will be done afterwards.

I already started filling the scratches and sanding. I also had to repair the roof as both holders on the front were broken.

The body came up really good and the MCI-decals i ordered should be here in a few days.
In the mean time i started sanding all the lights, jerry cans and the driver

Those parts still needs to be painted, but the weather has been crappy this WE over here, so i will have to wait until the conditions get better.

I started taking the chassis apart and cleaned everything

Many screws are rusted and the UJ's needed a good clean up

Corroded knuckle

The other knuckle

All the parts cleaned up, and brushed the UJ's with a metallic brush

The assembly can begin...as the Holiday Buggy is very simple it shouldn't take that long

Got me a new chassis long time ago, this one will be used as the old one had broken damper holders
